Join us for a lobby talk with Professor Jonathan Ullyot (author of The Medieval Presence in Modernism and Ezra Pound's Classical Sources) as he refreshes your understanding of the characters and themes in Homer's Iliad and Odyssey. This engaging event is perfect for anyone looking to deepen their appreciation of these epic tales in preparation for the 2025 production of Ransacking Troy. Professor Ullyot will discuss the rich narratives, exploring key characters and central themes that continue to resonate today. Whether you’re revisiting these classics or encountering them for the first time, come ready to enhance your insights and 'brush up' on your Homer!

Jonathan Ullyot is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada, earned a PhD in Comparative Literature at the University of Chicago and teaches literature at the Universities of Toronto and Chicago and Seneca College.
