The benefits of arts education have been well proven. At the Festival, we know the immediate and long-term benefits of individual and group arts experiences. To support the ample evidence of its benefits at a time when equitable access to meaningful arts education is diminishing, the Festival is excited to introduce Education Week. Offering workshops, speaker events, tours and performances focused on the perspectives of young people and advocates invested in their education—teachers, parents, policymakers—this week's festivities will highlight the importance of arts education through celebration and learning.
