After attending the Meighen Forum in 2023, Maureen Jennings was inspired to write a Shakespearean episode of Murdoch Mysteries - “Shakespeare's Beard”. In this exclusive event, Murdoch Mysteries creator and award-winning author Maureen Jennings, cast member Daniel Maslany (Detective Llewellyn Watts) and Festival company member Andrew Chown (who plays actor Allen Courtland in the episode) discuss the beloved Canadian television series, the inspiration behind the storylines, characters and Shakespearean influence.
