With Canada’s territorial claims in the North, we are particularly placed to be both monitors and stewards of environmental changes in the area. This discussion of our personal responsibility towards the environment and how art can advocate for climate-change awareness features Tom Zagon, an Environment Canada scientist who has studied the climatological factors bearing upon the search for the Franklin Expedition, and Chantal Bilodeau, Artistic Director of The Arctic Cycle, an organization created to support the writing of eight plays about the impact of climate change on the eight countries in the Arctic Circle.
