David Goldbloom and Friends
In a series of candid conversations among old friends, David Goldbloom, former Chair of the Stratford Festival Board of Governors and Senior Medical Advisor of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, sits down with some leading advocates and academics to discuss their work and their lives – and maybe to reminisce a little about their youthful misadventures.
In Conversation with Mervon Mehta
Mervon Mehta is the Executive Director of Performing Arts at the Royal Conservatory of Music and the impresario who schedules the global artists and blend of classical, world and jazz music that fills the stage of Koerner Hall, one of the great music performance spaces in the world. But in a previous life, he was an actor, including at The Stratford Festival, where he appeared with Antoni Cimolino in a fabled production of Romeo and Juliet. Music permeates his DNA, from his opera singing mother Carmen Lasky and his conducting father Zubin Mehta. Mervon's journey through the performing arts, from theatre to music, as well as enduring the impact of the pandemic on it and imaging arts life post-pandemic, will make for a lively conversation.
