The Directors' Office (also called the "DO") is located just inside the reception area on the Admin Level of the Festival Theatre.
The Directors’ Office supports the Artistic and Executive Directors in implementing all of the Festival’s programming and special projects and building a welcoming and supportive creative environment. This includes creative planning, scheduling, casting and contracting for creative teams, actors, musicians and coaches. Initiatives created under Antoni and Anita’s leadership include the Meighen Forum, Laboratory, the Stratford Festival On Film series and the Stratfest@Home streaming service. Our work also supports playwrights through the Foerster Bernstein New Play Development Program, directors through the Langham Directors’ Workshop, and actors through the Birmingham Conservatory
During the 2026 season the Directors’ Office will support the leadership transition between artistic director Antoni Cimolino and artistic director designate Jonathan Church, who officially assumes the role on November 1, 2026. We’re excited to celebrate Antoni’s final season and to welcome Jonathan.
The Directors’ Office team is actively engaged in the Festival’s culture shift to support anti-racism and anti-oppression and ensure a respectful, equitable and inclusive environment in which all artists, staff, and audience members can feel a true sense of belonging in a safe and healthy workplace. We welcome feedback from everyone; please do not hesitate to reach out to any member of the team if there is something you would like to share.

Dave Auster, Heather Cassels and other members of the DO team are always happy to discuss anything about your experience at the Festival.
Please email Beka Morrison at bmorrison@stratfordfestival.ca to schedule an appointment.
