Parking

In the off season, selected theatre lots can be used for staff parking, but during the season (when shows are open), theatre lots convert to paid guest parking and we rely on active transportation (walking, biking, bus) or street parking where permitted.  Please ensure you are following all posted signage, and paying in any designated areas.

Street parking is not permitted anywhere in town between 2:00am - 6:00am. You can park in the Cooper St. Lot for free overnight beside the YMCA. Here is a link to the City of Stratford website for more general information about parking.

For those looking for free parking near each venue:

Festival Theatre - Street parking in the surrounding neighborhood is free, including in Upper Queen's Park and along Lakeside Drive, year-round. The lot at the corner of Queen Street and Lakeside Drive is available/free until the first preview of the season then it becomes a paid lot for patrons. The lot beside the Festival entrance doors, next to the Normal School is exclusively reserved for the use of visitors and guests at all times, including during the off season. Please note the lower parking lot at stage door is for reserved parking only.
