Dressing Rooms

Actors: If your show is onstage, you have use of the dressing rooms. Please stay clear if your show is not onstage. It is necessary for most members of the company to share dressing room mirror space. Please keep your personal items to a minimum as you will need to clear your dressing room table after every performance (trays are provided for storage). Please do not affix anything to your mirror (pictures etc.) with an adhesive.

Each dressing room has a locked drawer but we advise you not to bring valuables to work with you. To help protect the costumes from damage please do not bring food or drinks into the dressing rooms. No open flames, such as candles or matches or personal alcohol beverages are allowed. This is because of safety concerns and the Festival's liquor license. There are many flammable fabrics, chemicals, sprays and other materials used in these areas. If you have questions regarding dressing rooms please contact the PSM of the appropriate venue.

FESTIVAL FACT

A pulley system is used to make costume storage at the Festival Theatre more manageable.

There's no room to wheel coat racks full of costumes around back stage, so a mechanical pulley lifts the racks up into the ceiling of the dressing rooms and out of the way until they're needed again.
